Athens Photo World is presenting for the third year at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center the annual exhibition World Press Photo, featuring the awarded photographs in the international photojournalism and documentary contest. The exhibition will be presented for 23 days, as part of Athens Photo World 2022
The World Press Photo 2022 competition boasts an updated design, a wider variety of themes and a new service for viewers: a self-guided tour through a mobile app that visitors will be able to download on their phones on-site, in order to access the audio description of the works and stories about the experiences of the photojournalists who captured them. The exhibition starts today only for the SNFCC Members who will also have the opportunity to have an exclusive guided tour in english by the WPP’s curator, Raphael Dias e Silva, and the the exhibition officially starts tomorrow until June 11.

If you visit the exhibition and feel really lucky, you can try to attend the concert that Dead Can Dance have tonight at the SNFCC but it’s a sold out event from April. But you never know.. And, of course, don’t forget to have one of the Guided Tours that takes place every Thursday in english at 18h30.
