In addition to Athens and Thessaloniki, this year the Festival will be held simultaneously in Larissa, Patras, Chania and Heraklion.
The Festival is here to remind us “that cinema, a popular and democratic art, is always present when you need it, ready to comfort you, open new horizons, offer you the pleasure of entertainment and stimulate curiosity and reflection”, as stated by Festival President and Director of the French Institute Nicolas Eybalin and Festival Artistic Director, Audiovisual Attaché Thodoris Koutsavitis.
The programme, with 51 feature films, 6 medium-length films and 12 short films, is presented in 7 sections and will give audiences the opportunity to discover films for 9 days in avant premieres, exclusive screenings, meetings with the filmmakers and parallel activities.
The screenings of Athens will take place at cinemas Danaos, Astor, Auditorium Theo Angelopoulos (French Institute of Greece)
