Saturday 19 September 2026: Sivert Høyem in Athens

SIVERT HØYEM
SATURDAY 19 SEPTEMBER 2026
CITY OF ATHENS LYCABETTUS THEATRE
Sivert Høyem, one of Norway’s most distinctive artists, known both as the commanding frontman of Madrugada and for his acclaimed solo career, returns to Europe in 2026 with a tour that celebrates milestones and new beginnings alike.

On Saturday, September 19, he will perform live in Athens, for the first time on the stage of the City of Athens Lycabettus Theatre, in a captivating concert where his deep, familiar voice will meet its natural setting beneath the city’s star-lit sky.

Following the release of his last two albums, On an Island (2024) and the brand-new Dancing Headlights (2025), Høyem has once again confirmed his place as one of the most remarkable voices in Nordic music. His songs are praised for their raw, melancholic beauty, evoking the vast northern landscapes of his homeland, and his live performances are as intense as they are unforgettable.

On January 23, 2026, Høyem released The Best Of, a collection gathering the highlights of his solo career, from iconic songs to intimate pieces where his voice stands alone. More than a compilation, the album is a portrait of an artist whose work combines vast emotional spaces with a unique musical signature, capturing not only the music but also the atmosphere, the stories, and the slightly dark shimmer of beauty that defines Sivert Høyem. The album is available digitally worldwide and will be available on vinyl in Greece starting Friday, January 30.

2026 also marks several anniversaries for Høyem, both personally and musically. Two of his solo albums, Lioness and Exiles turn ten and twenty years old, while Høyem himself celebrates his fiftieth birthday. Yet beyond the numbers, this tour is a tribute to a life devoted to music and to an artist who can fill a room with a single note.

Together with his trusted band, Høyem will guide audiences through highlights from across his career: from brand new material to timeless songs like Prisoner of the Road, Moon Landing, Into the Sea and Madrugada’s iconic Majesty. Each night will be unique, filled with surprises, rare gems and intimate moments in true Høyem spirit.

More than a celebration, this is an invitation to experience the voice, presence and intensity that have made Sivert Høyem a towering figure in Norwegian music.

“WE WILL ALWAYS BE THE WAY WE WERE’’ TOUR 2026
SATURDAY 25 SEPTEMBER
CITY OF ATHENS LYCABETTUS THEATRE

Jack Savoretti, one of the most beloved artists among the Greek audience, is coming to Athens for a one-off concert on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the City of Athens Lycabettus Theatre, marking the first stop of the European leg of the “We Will Always Be the Way We Were” Tour 2026.

JACK SAVORETTI ANNOUNCES 28-DATE UK AND EUROPEAN TOUR – HIS BIGGEST TOUR TO DATE

JACK SAVORETTI’S BRAND NEW ALBUM ‘WE WILL ALWAYS BE THE WAY WE WERE’
WILL BE RELEASED ON APRIL 10, 2026

Today, Jack Savoretti announces a 28-date UK and European tour – his biggest to date. The dates will round off a major year for Jack, following the release of his ninth studio album We Will Always Be The Way We Were, due on April 10.

Last year, Jack announced a series of special shows, including a one-off night at London’s Royal Albert Hall, which sold out in under an hour. He will also play already sold-out headline dates at De Montfort Hall in Leicester and Liverpool Philharmonic, alongside an intimate BRITs Week for War Child performance at London’s Emerald Theatre, all taking place ahead of the album’s release.

The Autumn 2026 tour will open in Athens on September 25, before travelling through a further ten countries across Europe and arriving in the UK on October 21 to play Plymouth Pavilions. The UK and Ireland leg includes 15 dates, with shows in Glasgow, Dublin, Belfast, Cardiff, Gateshead, Manchester and more.

Jack Savoretti’s ninth studio album, We Will Always Be The Way We Were, is a bold return to his musical roots, recorded at Eastcote Studios in West London. Marking 20 years since his debut album Between the Minds, the record finds Savoretti reconnecting with the raw storytelling and cinematic soul that defined his earliest work. Written and recorded with his long-time touring band, the album celebrates the craft, camaraderie and creative freedom that have carried him through two decades at the forefront of British songwriting.

“This is a full-circle album,” says Jack. “It’s going back to my roots, to the neighbourhood where I first started making music – with the same friends and musicians I met around Ladbroke Grove and Portobello Road. It’s the album I always wanted to make when I was starting out, but didn’t yet have the courage or experience to make. Now I do.”

Jack’s current single, the title track from the album, has just been added to the BBC Radio 2 A List and the beginning of the month saw him performing the track on Graham Norton, watch the performance here.
