Open shops on Sundays

On November 27th shops will remain open Combined with Black Friday, which this year falls on November 25th, we have a whole Friday weekend ahead of us that we can take advantage of for great prices and deals. And as you know, some offers can only be found in person, in physical stores.

Specifically Sunday 27/11, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. the stores of The Mall Athens, Golden Hall, Athens Metro Mall, Avenue Mall, McArthurGlenn, Athens Heart Mall will be open.

• This year, perhaps more than ever, your visit to the “Antonis Tritsis” Environmental Awareness Park, 23 Spyrou Mustaklis 23, Ilion, is particularly important. It is one of the last shelters for wildlife in the urban and often inhospitable environment of Athens.

 

• On the first Sunday of the month at 11:00, a treasure hunt takes place at the Observatory’s visitor centre in Thiseio, while in the afternoon of the same day (16.00-18.00) children aged 4-6 years travel into space!

 

• Of course “Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center” is another typical destination, even of the Athenians themselves, where on weekdays and weekends there are several activities for children, such as cycling, sports, games, getting to know the plants and herbs of the garden, while the illumination and Christmas decoration of the parc, the ice rink that has become a constant value in recent years, but also a variety of workshops and creative activities for children.

 

• The “Christmas Village” of Tecnhopolis which this year will open its doors on 26 November, is also a favorite visit point each Christmas in Athens. In the same area is the Industrial Gas Museum, which almost every weekend organizes creative educational workshops, games, guided tours, which will surely get the kids excited.

 

• Last but not least, you can also take a look at the children’s playscurrently playing in the theatre of Athes, among which you will surely find something suitable for any age.
