Tip of the 12/4/2022 – International Human Space Flight Day

The International Day of Human Space Flight was established by UN General Assembly on 7 April 2011 to commemorate human achievements in space. It is celebrated every year on 12 April. On this day in 1961, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first man to orbit the Earth in the spacecraft Vostok 1, thus beginning his space adventure.

Don’t forget that Space Olympiad as it is known the World Scientific Space Congress will be held for the first time in Athens, at the Athens Concert Hall (Megaro Mousikis), from 16 to 24 July 2022.
