Eleusina, a city just 1h from Athens, an industrial city nowadays, but with a long history, and it has many ancient ruins and sights worth to see it. Also, it is the European Capital of  Culture 2023, and many interesting events by many international artists will be happening  in the city from today until May 1st. It is a perfect daily excursion from Athens, to attend the cultural events, to learn more about its history, and of course is always  a good idea to have your lunch at Lefteris-Fish restaurant, a place where you can always find some fresh and tasteful fish.
