Local craft markets are a vibrant part of Athens life, with craft markets happening almost every weekend—and sometimes even during the week—across various spots in the city. The largest is the Meet Market, typically held at Technopolis, and another popular venue is the Kypseli Municipal Market, in Fokionos Negri square. If you want to support local vendors and pick up unique gifts and souvenirs from Greece, save this page for updates on all the exciting market events happening in Athens!  Ifestou street in Monastiraki square and Avissinias  square in the same area, Evripidou street, if you are interested in spices and kitchen  stuff are some of the spots you can start. #SummerInTheCity – The Meet Market Returns to Zappeion
There are certain summer events that have become a tradition. For us, one of them is The Meet Market in the Zappeion Garden. On Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, we’re returning for the fourth consecutive year to our favorite summer spot, under the jacarandas, to enjoy an ice-cold beer with friends, wander among unique creations, and find everything we’ll take with us on vacation.

There are few moments that make summer in the city feel like a vacation, and The Meet Market #SummerEdition is one of them!

80+ talented makers
More than 80 creators are bringing everything we’ll need for our vacations—and more. Swimsuits, summer clothes, sarongs, handmade jewelry, natural beauty products, essential oils, ceramics, unique posters, accessories, and little treasures that make everyday life a little more beautiful.

Kids Fun & Street Food
At the same time, the Zappeion is filled with free activities for kids, creative games, juggling acts, a bubble show, face painting, and many more surprises.
And of course, there’s plenty of food: wood-fired pizza, juicy burgers, handmade ice cream, ice-cold beers, wine, and summer cocktails.
#Extra tip: A stop by the Info Point / Main Ticket Office might have a surprise in store for you: enter the raffle and win one of three baskets filled with authentic, handmade gifts from our exhibitors.
