Tip of the day 11/5/2023 – Guided tour to Athenian Museum

Some interesting events that take place today during Athens City Festival are the Guided tour to the Association of the Athenians where visitors will have the opportunity to travel through two centuries of Athenian history during a tour of the “Athenian Museum” featuring items donated from many of the families that shaped the city’s identity. Today it is also the first day of the photo exhibition about Omonia, the historic central square of Athens: Omonia Lovers: Photographic Exhibition. It will take place at Athens City Hall (Athinas 63, Athens) from 10:00 until 20:00. The Omonia Lovers photo group was created those who use their love of photography to observe Athens every day, starting from the historic Omonia Square that moves from morning to night.

Last but not least, a street party will take place at Victoria square (Elpidos street): Victoria Street Party. The party on the Elpida pedestrian street off Victoria Square highlights the authentic, contemporary image of Athens through the diverse contributions that are combined in this part of the city.
