Piano City Athens will transform the city into an impromptu 7-day piano playground. It’s the first city-wide festival in Athens. After inspiring thousands of people in Berlin, Milan and other global metropolises, Piano City is now making its way to Athens.Piano City Athens is the first festival that literally takes place throughout the entire city.

The beloved street festival returns for its fourth year!

Having inspired thousands of people in Berlin, New York, Milan, and other major cities, Piano City® has now become a tradition in Athens as well.

A festival for Athens, which has been organized “by” and “with” the city from the very beginning, through an innovative process involving institutions, artists, clubs, networks, and partners.

At Piano City Athens, music does not wait for the audience, but spreads across squares, into people’s homes, and into unconventional spaces. The sounds of the piano fill the air, transforming the entire urban landscape.

Through the piano, Piano City Athens brings together people from all interests, connecting them on a deeply personal level through music.

What will happen at Piano City Athens?
Free piano concerts in public and private spaces – at the airport, in parks, museums, squares, conservatories, and at the most unexpected locations.

Special events

House concerts – Virtuoso pianists and amateurs will open their homes and hearts to the public.
