So, climbing to the peak Mytikas at 2.917 m. is an experience you have to live if you are keen on hiking. The first time ever that someone set foot on Mytikas was on 1913, August 2nd and it was Christos Kakalos (this is also the name of one of the Olympus refuges), Frédéric Boissonnas and Daniel Baud-Bovy.
