If you are in Athens right now and you are looking for a weekend plan, this is a perfect fit for you! Kalamata, the second biggest city of Peloponnese area, hosts the Peloponnese Beer Festival. It is located only a 3h drive from Athens, and  it has so much things to do:

• Swim at Kalamata beach with a view on  Taygetos Mountain, one of the highest mountains of Greece
• Hike on Taygetos Mount, sleep on its peak and watch the phenomenon of pyramid the very early morning
• Hike and Swim on Polylmnio waterfalls, an amazing landscape and easy path
