Summer at the SNFCC and the screenings at the Great Lawn continue: The well-established Park Your Cinema series renews its cooperation with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival for a second year, presenting the films selected for our adult viewers. Our date is on for unforgettable cinematic moments under the stars!

This summer, in the warm, welcoming darkness of the open sky of the SNFCC, we will be reliving together some of the stories we grew up with, stories that remind us what it means to be young, then or now or forever, the way only great cinema can.

American Graffiti (1973)

Before travelling to “a galaxy, far, far away”, George Lucas captures the vibe of 1962, in a bittersweet postcard of America, on the eve of financial and social tailspin. Like an addictive rock ‘n’ roll song, the movie outlines adolescent innocence and youth impulse of a group of friends during the last carefree night just as adulthood is looming in.
