Tip of the day – Athens Epidaurus Festival

The Athens Epidaurus Festival is Greece’s leading cultural organisation and one of the oldest continuously running festivals in Europe. Spanning 67 years, the Festival has welcomed some of the greatest music, dance, and theatre artists of the international and local scene, in collaboration with the most prestigious Greek and international organisations, attracting large audiences from around the world.

It has already announced the program for summer 2025 so, check it here and book your tickets. Have in mind that the events do not take place only in Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus and Odeon of Herodes Atticus, but also at Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus and Pireos 260 venue. For the two venues  in Epidavros, if you don’t have a car to go there, you can also  book a  place at the official bus to take you there and return Athens after the event.

Bonus fact: Usually after the performances of Pireos 260 venue, the audience and not only gather in the industrial courtyard of the venue, where the staff has set up a stage that includes some of the best street food proposals of the city, frozen cocktails, beers and music from a large sound spectrum coming out of an open container. So, don’t meet this chance to be part of this party make new friends in Athens!
